Synopsis

When three young pigs are left to fend for themselves in the big, bad world, they must learn how to survive. With the help of their new forest friends, they learn to forage for food, and to build houses that they hope will protect them from that most sinister of threats—the Big, Bad Wolf. Happy-go-lucky Orville and food-obsessed Wilbur find the work too difficult to keep them long from their playful activities, and find themselves relying on the superior preparedness of brother Thomas, who turns out to be one smart pig.  But will even Thomas’s brick house be enough to protect them from the wolf?  A respectful yet hilarious take on a traditional fairy tale, with eleven original songs, all carefully written to work well with young voices.  An expanded cast of characters, including Mother Sow and various woodland creatures, allows a large cast to participate, with plenty of opportunities for zany fun and comic mayhem.
