Stars is about the relationship between a bright young suburbanite, born in Iran, who hesitantly reveals affection for a fellow teen, recently transplanted from the inner city, who is both streetwise and emotionally mature, and the reaction it sparks. The urban teen, at first surprised and put off, is faced with the challenge of accepting a friend for who he is, or abandoning the friendship.
